Allow TEAM INDIA To Participate in INTERNATIONAL GEOGRAPHY OLYMPIAD 2023 in INDONESIA
The Issue
To Committee Members of GEO GENIUS INDIA Committee 2023
On the behalf of all of Indian nationals and NRIs all over world, we are requesting GEO GENIUS INDIA and Government of India to let selected students, TEAM INDIA, participate in these prestigious world level INTERNATIONAL GEOGRAPHY OLYMPIAD (iGeo) 2023, which is being conducted offline this year in Bandung, Indonesia.
We request you to take the eligible students for TEAM INDIA or take another interview round of next top 10 students as GEOGENIUS team had the Bonafide certificate of students before exams and yet were not able to select students meeting the eligibility criteria.
It is disappointing that due to some trivial issues INDIA is not able to participate in prestigious IGEO exam.
Do you see the faces of these students in the picture who have already made INDIA proud by winning 2 Bronze Medals at (INTERNATIONAL GEOGRAPHY OLYMPIAD 2022).They are future of India who will go on to become geographers, Meteorologists and photogrammetrists who will benefit not only India but the whole world.
How do you want our country India to be world leader in Science And Technology?
When whole world is participating including small countries and all of our neighboring countries, India shouldn’t be the only one NOT participating. Fortunately, the the 3 selected students are finalized for participation and we just need 1 more candidate. Additionally, we have enough time for another interview round with can be wrapped up in a span of 5-6 days.
You might have also seen the mega success of the virtual camps, students enthusiasm and the enormous input of the faculties from all over world for TEAM INDIA.
