I am a local business owner in Hernando County, Florida, providing dumpster rental services to our community. This service is not just a business for me; it's my way of contributing to the cleanliness and environmental health of our county. However, current regulations prevent me from storing my business dumpsters on my secured Agricultural (AG) property.

This restriction hampers the efficiency and effectiveness of my operations. It also affects other similar businesses in our county who are facing the same issue. We believe that with proper guidelines and control measures, dumpsters can be safely stored on AG properties without causing any harm to the environment or public health.

According to a report by The National Waste & Recycling Association, efficient storage and management of dumpsters can significantly reduce waste-related issues in communities (source: National Waste & Recycling Association). By allowing us to store these containers on our property, we will be able to better manage waste disposal within Hernando County.
