Spiffy Pets has been a Machesney Park business for 9 years. October 1st we moved one mile south of our previous location, to 8801 N 2nd St. 

We paid, and had installed, 2 beautiful signs, one above the entrance door on the building and one under the neighboring business sign on the pole in the parking lot closer to 251. 

The Village of Machesney Park has notified Spiffy Pets that the sign on the pole doesn't meet their current newest zoning regulations and needs to be removed or that Spiffy Pets asks for a variance for it to remain in place. There is no other location on the property that this sign could be located because the property is literally all building and parking lot (property lines seen in the picture). 

Spiffy Pets needs your signature on our petition stating that you feel Machesney Park should allow Spiffy Pets pole sign to stay in place for the benefit of our business as well as other local business within Machesney Park, while our clients wait for their pet to be groomed. Also note in the picture you can see that our neighboring business has two signs on their pole, why can't we. 

Spiffy Pets is applying for this variance on Friday November 4th. Your approval and noted reasons will hopefully greatly help us keep our beautiful new sign in place. Without your help, we may have to remove our pole sign, which will cause our business great hardship.
