Allow Kids II Inc to establish a regional office in Utah
The Issue
I have long been embroiled in a battle with Kids II Inc over copyright infringement issues related to the Baby Einstein brand. This struggle has left me imp, but it has also strengthened my resolve. I firmly believe that the best course of action is for Kids II Inc to sell all activities involving the Baby Einstein brand, allowing it to get a newly separate geographical headquarters in both Salt Lake City Utah and Phoenix, Arizona which I believe is west of both Denver and Atlanta,
We Believe the Future Belongs to the Curious™.
Baby Einstein™ inspires curiosity within parents and equips them with the tools to create an environment of curiosity for their children.
Baby Einstein was founded in 1996 by mother and former teacher Julie Aigner-Clark at her home in Georgia. Driven by her passion for the arts, she wanted a way to introduce the fundamentals of music, language, poetry, colors, shapes, and more to young children. The original video she created – featuring puppets and the scores of classical composers – won the 1997 Parenting Magazine award for Best Video of the Year, and the series that followed has become synonymous with the Baby Einstein name.
Decades later, we’ve kept Aigner-Clarks’s original vision at the center of everything we do. Baby Einstein started as a teaching tool for parents, and we continue to believe that parents are their baby’s first teachers.
The Phoenix metropolitan area, also known as the Valley of the Sun, the Salt River Valley, metro Phoenix, or The Valley, is the largest metropolitan statistical area in the Southwestern United States, with its largest principal city being the city of Phoenix. It includes much of central Arizona. The United States Office of Management and Budget designates the area as the Phoenix–Mesa–ChandlerMetropolitan Statistical Area (MSA), defining it as Maricopa and Pinalcounties. It anchors the Arizona Sun Corridor megaregion along with the second-most populous metropolitan area in the state, the Tucson metropolitan area. The gross domestic product of the Phoenix metropolitan area was $255 billion in 2018, 16thhighest amongst metro areas in the United States.
Mattel has an interest in becoming the parent companies besides just Kids II Inc.
Baby Einstein, a beloved brand dedicated to providing interactive learning experiences for infants and toddlers, deserves autonomy. As an independent entity, it could focus more on its mission without being overshadowed by corporate interests. Additionally, relocating its headquarters to Salt Lake City in Utah would provide new opportunities for growth and development.
Salt Lake City is known for its thriving business environment and strong community support for local businesses. It's ranked as one of the top cities in America for business by Forbes (2019). This move could potentially help Baby Einstein flourish even more as a brand.
Moreover, Selecting Mattel as future parent company of Baby Einstein would be a significant step towards resolving ongoing copyright disputes that have caused unnecessary tension and conflict.
Let's urge Kids II Inc to take these steps not only in favor of fair business practices but also considering what's best for our children who are at the heart of this issue - they deserve quality educational content free from corporate disputes. Please sign this petition today!
