I am a member of the Tuckahoe Middle School community, and I find it baffling that our school has decided to block extensions. It makes absolutely no sense to me. Extensions are tools that can enhance learning experiences, improve productivity, and aid in research for students. They are not just frivolous add-ons but integral parts of modern education.

In fact, according to EdTech Magazine, 62% of K-12 teachers use technology in the classroom daily. This statistic shows how important digital tools like extensions have become in our education system (EdTech Magazine). By blocking these extensions, we are hindering students' ability to learn effectively and efficiently.

We must remember that we live in a digital age where technology is an essential part of learning. Our school should be promoting this progression instead of stifling it by blocking useful tools like extensions.
