I invested in a three thousand dollar Electric Unicycle (EUC), designed specifically for single track trails. A year after making this investment, the rules were changed, prohibiting me from riding it on trails and confining me to the streets—exactly where my EUC is not optimized to be used. This decision has stripped away the joy I once had in riding, turning my purchase into an impractical expense.

It's crucial to highlight that EUCs cause significantly less damage than mountain bikes. They occupy less space, and do not generate the same trail wear and tear. EUCs are built with advanced technology, allowing them to distribute weight evenly, which results in minimal impact on natural surfaces.

Furthermore, mountain bikes can often achieve higher speeds on these trails, which poses greater risks to other trail users than EUCs. Considering these factors, there appears to be no logical reason to prevent EUCs from being allowed wherever mountain bikes are.

By allowing EUCs on single track trails, Colorado would embrace innovation and environmentally friendly transportation while making trails more accessible to different types of users. The change would foster inclusivity, promoting the growth of the EUC community, which is committed to safe, sustainable riding practices.
