Yet, lately, our excitement is often dimmed by the unpredictability of the lights which turn on at seemingly random days, disrupting our games and gatherings.
Manor Field Park is a cherished facility for our community, particularly for those dedicated to sports and outdoor activities. With the growing number of people wanting to make use of the turf field, reliable lighting is essential for ensuring that everyone can safely enjoy the field large portions of the year. Unfortunately, irregular lighting schedules have resulted in interrupted practices and frustrated park-goers left in the dark, literally.
Statistics show that regular sports activity increases community health and lowers stress levels significantly. According to Public Health England, adults should aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate physical activity weekly. Parks like Manor Field play a vital role in helping us achieve this target.
