To the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE),

We, the students of CBSE, request the board to allow the use of calculators in board exams, just like the Gujarat Board (GSEB) has permitted. Many national and international boards, including GSEB, ICSE, and IB, allow students to use calculators to reduce calculation errors and focus more on problem-solving skills rather than manual arithmetic.

The CBSE syllabus is already rigorous, and allowing calculators will create a level playing field for students. This change will help in subjects like Mathematics, Physics, Accountancy, and Economics 

where complex calculations often take excessive time and increase stress.

We urge CBSE to consider this request and bring about this necessary reform for the benefit of students.
