Bishop Challoner Catholic College has implemented summer uniforms this term to help their students with the unbearable heat, yet is it truly enough?

The boys will proceed to be wrapped with the long, heat absorbing trousers (as will the girls), and when girls wear skirts, tights remain necessary.

For presentation purposes, the tie remains mandatory, as is a tucked in shirt - both preventing ventilation.

These few of many issues with the currently standing summer uniform, are incredibly suffocating in several ways. Obviously, the students will be uncomfortable in rather tight, sweat provoking clothing. This can cause bullying from other students, and can generally affect one's self esteem. Additionally, the sweat has caused an uncomfortable, unbreathable humid environment in classrooms, which may also affect the teachers, given the importance of environment. Clearly, the school had considered the environment through stimulating colors of walls, and intricate care to develop individuals' creativity and thinking skills, so why not take action now? Money is not a problem, as PE kits also cost money.

The current heat is unforgivable, capable of causing many students sickness!

Compared to the winter convenient uniforms, the School's PE kits provide for more ventilation  and lesser probability of Student Violation of dress code, also being generally a more comfortable option. The kit has the schools badge on both the bottoms and tops, offering proper representation, as well as having an overall lesser ability to look 'untidy'.
