As a resident of Bedford County, Virginia, living with type one diabetes and progressive multiple sclerosis, I have experienced firsthand the medical and physical benefits of cannabis. It has provided me relief beyond any pharmacy or pharmaceutical drug. This is why I am advocating for the operation of Bedford Secret Sesh - a private cannabis club - in our community.

Bedford Secret Sesh aims to educate our community about the responsible use of cannabis and its potential health benefits. However, we need your support to establish operational guidelines and assign a taxation code that will allow us to operate legally within our county.

Cannabis has been recognized for its medicinal properties in various studies (source: National Institute on Drug Abuse). In states where it's legal, tax revenue from cannabis sales has been used to fund public services (source: Colorado Department of Revenue). We believe that allowing Bedford Secret Sesh to operate could bring similar benefits to our county while providing an alternative treatment option for those like me who struggle with chronic illnesses.

This is not just about making money; any profit made would be used towards paying bills and giving back to our surrounding community. By signing this petition, you are supporting the establishment of Bedford Secret Sesh as well as contributing towards educating our community about the positive effects when using cannabis responsibly.

The raid on Bedford Secret Sesh, May 4th, 2024. Was not only unnecessary it was cruel. Each officer was in our opinion influenced with rhetoric from the past. As they rushed on to the property, pointing guns at every individual here at the time. We could hear Mr. Craighead walking towards them and saying, his name and that he is the property owner. Also to include that none on property are going to resist or intend to cause harm to the law enforcement officials. 

We are outraged at the cruelty bestowed upon such a kind and peaceful group of people. We the people, stand along side Bedford Secret Sesh & the guidelines under which they operate.
