Hello Senator Ted Cruz,

My everyday life, like so many other people’s lives are deeply impacted by high inflation. Regular purchases, once worry free and affordable, have now become burdensome. This issue is far from detached and abstract, it reflects in our reduced purchasing decisions and creates significant financial strain.

Amid the current economic climate, US inflation rates have soared to 7.5%, marking the highest rate in forty years (source: U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics). This constant increase in the cost of living crushes our ability to maintain our lifestyles and plan for the future. Furthermore, it is crucial that our lawmakers take immediate action to implement policies geared towards curbing this intense inflation.
