It has become abundantly clear that the current board for Allendale Rocket Football is not fulfilling their duties to the parents, players, coaches, and sponsors of the program. We believe this needs to be corrected immediately.

The main focus of the program has shifted, and it is our goal to make things right.  Allendale Rocket Football's main focus needs to be the kids. We believe that the goal of this program should be to help teach the game of football to create great athletes and great human beings. 

We believe that the board should be fair, equitable, and transparent. The board shall conduct themselves in a professional manner and follow a standard voting system to make decisions pertaining to the league. It is also our belief that no single member of the board is to make decisions independently without first discussing and voting as a board with welcomed input from the parents of the league. It is the expectation of the parents, players, coaches, and sponsors that no one member of the board shall hold all decision-making power.

We believe that parents are to be included in all board meetings with full access to all Allendale Rocket Football financial information. Any member of the board singling out and/or targeting parents, players, coaches, or sponsors based on one's own personal bias will not be tolerated, and immediate corrective action will be taken. All board members will be held accountable for their actions.

We believe that all board positions should be voted on by the parents (and sponsors if they so desire) of the program and will be up for re-election after the completion of every season. In order for this program to succeed, we need to embrace and welcome change. New board positions need to be created to accommodate the growth and expansion of the league. 

We want families to stay. We want players that are in this program to remain at Allendale through their senior year. We are very aware that Allendale Rocket Football feeds the Allendale High School football program. We want to ensure the success and growth of Allendale Football as a whole. We believe that is how you build a successful football program. With proper leadership in place we believe this can happen.

We, the undersigned petition the Allendale Rocket Football League board as follows: 

All board members are to vacate their positions effective immediately.

Any and all financial information is to be turned over to the parents of the Allendale Rocket Football League immediately for review.
