We have little undeveloped space left in our city-and it falls to all of us as citizens: residents, elected officials and developers alike to protect it. While we are fighting a specific development today, we are also fighting for the protection of our community for the future. This matter has never been more urgent: Western Cranston faces the imposition of an out of scale, out of character rental development and commercial drive through at the intersection of Phenix and Natick Avenues. We ask that our city's leaders show vision and foresight and deny the application for the Lodges at Phenix Glen. What we do today will be ours to deal with tomorrow-what is done cannot be undone.
