We are all negatively impacted by the ongoing monotony of holding our all-staff meetings in Yakima, a pilgrimage that has become less “tradition” and more “shared workplace trauma.”

The concerning lack of waterslides, the hotel rooms that look like they were decorated by a colorblind committee with a deep fear of fun, the stale non-chlorine scented indoor air, the repetitive scenery that screams “You could be literally anywhere else, doing anything else right now.”

At this point, staying in Yakima feels less like a logistical choice and more like a test of endurance. If we keep accepting Yakima as our destination, we risk losing the very last pieces of our collective will to live 

A Great Wolf Lodge all-staff on the other hand would be a heroic stand for joy! for drama! for waterslides! This isn’t just a place way cooler and better than Yakima.

This is a fight for our souls. 

After all the things we’ve survived; the endless campaigns, ongoing bargains, constantly changing priorities, scraped projects, and the hundreds of meetings that should have been an email - morale is hanging on by a thread so thin Bella Hadid would be jealous.

We deserve a venue that doesn’t suck. So let’s move forward and claim the all-staff meeting that destiny clearly intended for us.
