We the people of Cheyenne River sioux agency tribe feel that we are not being treated fairly when it comes to federal assistance payments to Cheyenne River Sioux agency.,  council is always trying to overrun tribal members that do not live on the reservation or are unable to make it to the tribal council meetings. So due to that the tribal council Representatives in each district practically have all the say so with very little turnout from on or off reservation tribal members and are not giving enough notice to. All tribal members to attend or to zoom  to these tribal council meetings.

Cheyenne River Sioux agency tribal members that live on and off the CRST Reservation want a change in this due to off reservation members not receiving a fair chance to have their voice heard or to have say so in any of the issues of the Cheyenne River Sioux agency tribe CRU monies that are deemed owed to all registered members. without all CRU tribal numbers involved none of this federal money would have not been issued for each tribal member on or off the reservation . so now off reservation tribal members are being discluded from receiving Federal money and federal grants for all registered tribal members we that live off the reservation also have bills to pay like car payments house payments rent utility bills we struggle also.  And now we want to be treated fairly and counted in with the same dignity and respect as a on reservation tribal member.

 by signing of this petition we are  asking Cheyenne River Sioux agency tribe to rescind  the December 6th 2023 votes that were only giving cash payout assistañce to only on reservation tribal members. And now "Amend" and give cash payout assistance to  off reservation tribal members also. the same cash assistance payout that is available as on reservation members. Signed Dayton Chavez
