India is a proud country of more than a billion people. However we are obsessed only with one game "Cricket". Players like Virat Kohli are huge fans of Roger Federer in turn! When Federer (35) and Nadal (30) are setting new milestones in global athleticism, the whole world gets to witness, why can't Indian citizens witness this live in our own country? It's because we don't have our own grand slam in India! We need more athletes (not just in one sport but) in a variety of sports. Grand slams are very inspiring because they have the potential to create and produce world-class tennis players from India if a new Grand slam is conducted here every year! India's future generation deserves the best of all sports, both in terms of participation and live audience.
