The "Clean as you go" policy puts the duty on all people to ensure the working environment in a clean, tidy and secure state at all times while conducting tasks on the premises. An example of this is in our school which is Our Lady of Caysasay Academy, workstations to be left in clean, safe and tidy condition.

A policy of clean as you go is a cleaning technique used to reduce hygiene, health and safety risks. The clean as you go technique includes taking continuous cleaning opportunities during the working day and making cleaning part of your everyday routine to ensure clean, hygienic, and clutter-free surfaces, appliances, garbage, and the premises.

As part of every position in retail, hospitality and catering, formalising a clean as you go policy contributes to a clear approach to cleaning. It also encourages less senior or experienced workers to feel good about taking the initiative to clean during downtime and to realize that part of the job is to do so.

Offer people guidance as part of the onboarding phase that will enable them make use of quieter periods to complete additional cleaning. As cafes, kitchens, schools, and supermarkets all have very different standards, what you think is above and above cleaning will depend on where you work or stay. Asking them about additional cleaning opportunities would also be another metric to distinguish between time wasters and motivated people.

Waste Management. . When you go to the waste management plan to ensure the waste does not build up, you need an efficient cleaning. That means not only placing items in the bin, but emptying the bin during the day! As it may attract pests and cause cross-contamination of other products, don't let food waste build up. Use and hold closable garbage containers in convenient places to reach. Doing so helps workers to dispose as easily as possible of food waste and other waste. Have specifically named waste recycling and management strategies. Also, by simply picking up litters will be a big help.

Why is taking care of our environment important? We have only one Earth as our home. Why does the atmosphere matter? A healthy life means a safe world. The more we take care of our surroundings, the more a healthier and habitable home can be open to us. Rise in the Earth's Temperatures Overall. Even a small rise in the temperature of the atmosphere can bring dramatic changes in the patterns of the weather.
