Dreams to come true for everyone.

The issue

Like everyone else who has dreamed to go on a beautiful cruise all there life, my dream has come to a very sad end.
Booked cruise and was really excited.
Then to be advised I will not be allowed to follow my religious commandment on the cruise.
(The kirpan is a sword or knife carried by baptised Sikhs. It is a religious commandment given by Guru Gobind Singh in 1699, that Sikhs must wear five articles of faith at all times, the kirpan being one of five articles.)

So, Basically I was given three options;
1. Remove kirpan and it will be confiscated until end of cruise.
2. Wear a plastic kirpan.
3. Wear a neck chain with mini kirpan.

I can not understand why so much unfairness towards Sikh religion.
Why do my dreams (and many other peoples dreams) have to be compromised because the cruise ships have strict policies.
I understand it’s a policy but I don’t understand why the policy is not reconsidered when it comes to someone’s faith.

I understand on flights we also remove and place our Kirpan into checked in baggage for security reasons.

A flight is the way to the holiday destination, but a cruise is the holiday destination.

How can it be ok for the cruise line to say no, unless you follow the 3 options.
Feeling of someone saying remove a body part from your body, how is this acceptable?

I am having trouble sleeping regarding this issue and while writing this tears are coming from my eyes in pure heart break.

I really need some help to understand all this, please someone help. This is a sincere request to everyone.
