Stop funding non-English events in England, instead fund English events!

This petition had 5 supporters

All non-English events (cultural and religious) are part or majority funded by English taxes via councils without consent of the English community which does not conform to common sense and does not create good race relations and shows ignorance, disrespect and brings isolation to the English community as our culture is consistently overshadowed by Council funded non-English events and so we believe that the public culture of England should be that of the English and we demand a stop to wasteful public funding of non-English events that will save us lots of tax payers cash, whilst supporting public funding of English events instead to run in-line with common sense.
We feel that we English should be presenting our culture to settlers for them to learn about and take part in if they so wish to do so? No one is denying the non-English their culture but that should be done in their own time and space with their own funding. Note: Sponsors of such events who you will find are often funded by Local Councils do not qualify as a case of self funding!
