On July 30, 2020 a letter was placed on the doors of residents at strata on Deville, Rd. Langford, BC.

July 31, 2020 we found out a convicted child sex offender would serve his house arrest in a townhome in our complex. We were told to be vigilant and call 911 immediately if he was seen with a minor under 16 years old. The onus was on us to protect our children. His windows face our common area where all our children play as well as Deville Rd which is a very family-friendly neighbourhood. He will spend the next 1.5 years looking out his windows watching the children. We will be constantly on high alert that this man may walk outside to drop off his trash, collect his mail, and say or do something inappropriate to a child. He is being protected because he is a "combat veteran" and his behaviour is excusable because he has "PTSD". PTSD does not make you a child molestor or watch child pornography.

PLEASE HELP OUR PETITION TO HAVE THIS DANGEROUS RISK RELOCATED TO SOMEWHERE AWAY FROM OUR CHILDREN. LANGFORD DESERVES BETTER.
