The skatepark closes at 5:30pm during September. It is still broad daylight at 5:30pm. The children's playground doesn't close till "dusk".

Users of the skatepark feel discriminated against. They are removed from the skatepark by security guards while both playgrounds are still open.

Alexandra Palace cannot/will not offer any logical reason why the skatepark closes hours before the other playgrounds

Young people and working parents often use the skatepark after work.

Children are being denied a safe skating environment whilst the sun is still shining.

We don't want special treatment we just want parity and equality with the other park users
