We have all faced consequences from the COVID-19 Pandemic. Closing Horeca has led to numerous businesses losing money, some shutting down permanently and job loss. We must think of both the economy and health of the citizens, which we all understand are both important. The problem is, we don't see the use of closing Horeca when supermarkets and stores are full, people are still in close contact with friends, etc.

Is it really worth the financial crisis? Or are we avoiding the inevitable? We care about everyone's lives, but we are not discussing enough the negative impact that the partial lockdown and financial loss is having on our mental health, which we all can agree is closely related to our physical health. I believe that hospitals are overcrowded and need help, but I don't believe that the current measures in place are right. 

Those who are considered high-risk patients (elderly/ prior medical conditions) should do their best to stay home as much as possible! Those who need to work, should be able to work and continue their life. We cannot sacrifice the well-being of everyone for the sake of a few. If the cases are only worsening, be fair and go into a full lockdown like last time. That way, we are all in the same position and we will be forced to work together as a team. 

The current measures are not working and these "in-between" rules are proving ineffective. You certainly cannot expect everyone to have the same mindset and understanding. We respectfully ask that you open everything or go into a full lockdown.
