Thank you for your support! This petition has made a historic record in Hawaii. We hope it will be a victory soon. Despite the 12,000 plus signatures, A&B is still firm on their old plan. They announced to their tenants at Manoa Marketplace that they will proceed to cut down and relocate 9 iconic Monkeypods. The spirit of the Manoa Marketplace will be taken away soon! Yesterday, We gave A&B a good proposal that preserves all the trees and creates a safe environment for everyone. More parking and lots of shade, it's a win-win situation for everyone. A&B yet shows no sign of keeping the trees. Please email CEO Chris Benjamin’s assistant at kchapman@abhi.com. She promised to give them to Chris Benjamin. We hope he will read them and share them with the board members of A&B. Please call A&B at 525-6611. Their Public Relations said they only got a few calls. The facts are being altered. And let our elected officials to represent us and help us protect these magnificent trees. Governor David Ige 586-0034 Mayor Kirk Caldwell 768-4141 Senator Brian Taniguchi 586-6460 Representative Isaac Choy 586-8475 Enjoy the film "The Hitachi Tree", the world's most famous Monkeypod!
