In 2018, Arctic monkeys released their sixth official studio album. Entitled 'Tranquility Base Hotel And Casino,' the album was a drastic change in style and sound for the Arctic Monkeys. And along with that drastic change in sound, came a big change in Alex Turner's [the lead singer's] look. He sported a coppery goatee that practically split the fandom into two. Some people liked it, and then ten times that amount of people hated it.

Personally, I thought that it looked hot, because it did. He managed to pull it off. And in the wise words of Alex Turner himself, I'll be upfront, the beard was hot. But many didn't agree in 2018, and some still to this day don't agree with me on that, which is quite absurd if you ask me. In fact, someone hated it so much that they started a petition for him to shave. Luckily, Alex laughed at it in interviews when he was asked about it, but still, it was quite stupid and childish of them to do that.

Also, the fact that he couldn't have a beard without people judging him is stupid. I mean, he had to have liked it if he grew it out, because if he didn't then he probably would've shaved it off. I've also met quite a few people that love his beard, and even some people that hate and I mean absolutely HATE beards but still manage to find Alex attractive with one. 

So, if you like the beard and wish for it to one day come back, sign this petition. If you don't want to that's okay. I hope that one day while he's on tour or in a recent that we see him rocking that amazingly hot beard again.
