Help Hamidah an experienced NICU nurse stay in Australia

Help Hamidah an experienced NICU nurse stay in Australia
Why this petition matters

Hamidah arrived in Australia for the opening of a new hospital in 2014. Hamidah is an experienced NICU nurse and can care for the premature babies. NICU nurses are hard to find in WA. Hamidah was offered sponsorship by her employer in 2017 but due to a name change the organisation had to apply to immigration for the right to sponsor. The organisation sent Hamidah an email with the main body saying she did not need to do anything with the email but in fact it was the number she required to apply for sponsorship.
Now here is the issue Hamidah was close to her 50th Birthday which at the time was the age limit. When it was discovered that the email sent to her by her employer was in fact the details she required to apply for permanent residency she was 25 days past her 50th birthday. The original email sent with the details required to apply was received before her 50th birthday and if told it was the sponsorship number we would not be in this situation asking for help. Hamidah appealed the decision but they have denied because again because of her age and it was referred on to the immigration minister.
Please help us keep Hamidah on the country the care she provides to sick premature infants in Australia is impeccable. The organisation has written to provide support to Hamidah and now we just need everyone else's support to get this over line. Hamidah has been waiting for 3 years for her appeal and in this time as been unable to travel because she is scared of the implications of leaving the country on a bridging visa. Her parents have been unwell and in this time she as maintained staying in Australia to provide care to the tiniest people of WA. Hamidah also enjoys sharing her knowledge and support with nursing student that spend time on the NICU.
Please help us to keep Hamidah here in Aus. The immigration minister can grant her visa, she was 25 days over her 50th birthday. The immigration minister can say yes and Hamidah can continue her life in Australia.
