Coach Nathan Walker is a former United States veteran. Nathan is an Alcona Schools alumni is well known in the community as a leader, role model, and mentor. We, the community have been touched and inspired by how he has coached over the years.

Coach Walker has been coaching since he was released from the military in 2011. He helped coach Alcona Packers football from 2011 through 2014 and little league baseball from 2011 to present. He started assistant coaching Alcona High School baseball in 2013, became head coach for Alcona JV football in 2015 and Assistant Coach for Alcona Varsity Football. Nathan became Alcona Varsity Baseball head coach in 2018. Nathan has never received a negative annual coaching review from Alcona Schools nor has he received a complaint from a parent.

We, as a community, need coach Nathan Walker back! He is an integral part of the Alcona coaching team. Nathan inspires and motivates the kids; not something everyone is able to do! The athletes look forward to his speeches and his presence at each practice and game. His coaching skills and love for teaching our youth is moving. His passion for our children and coaching is obvious at every game and practice. We need Coach Walker back for 2020/2021 school year!
