Cancel MDCPS Mandatory K12 Introduction Program

Cancel MDCPS Mandatory K12 Introduction Program
The Issue
MDCPS, We are asking you to cancel the mandatory K12 program for the first week of virtual school.
As students, we are deeply concerned about our security and privacy after the alleged "cyber attacks" on your platform. After downloading documents from this supposedly secure server, our computers had glitch issues, we were sent notifications that our passwords were compromised, and our emails said they were sent from an "unsecure platform."
Additionally, K12 and My School Online have been down all week. We were supposed to class time to complete this mandatory program, but because of the technical difficulties, many of us have been unable to log on in the first place. At most, people have completed a few out of the 80+ modules you assigned.
When we are struggling so much to even be able to meet with our classes because of the cyber attacks and technical difficulties, it seems unnecessary to also add the additional stress of forcing us to complete a mandatory program to teach us how to use a program that doesn't even work. Please keep your students in mind: do the right thing and cancel the K12 Introduction Course.
