The Alabama Coat-of-Arms contains the Confederate battle flag covering one fourth its area.  This proclaims white supremacy and needs to be removed.  Having done that, every Seal of Alabama, of which there are many, will need to be altered accordingly, since all include the Coat-of-Arms.

It is to be noted this petition is submitted 7/3/2020, and that the state flag of Mississippi was retired on 7/1/2020 for exactly the same reason petitioned, i.e., one fourth its area displayed the Confederate battle flag, thus evoking white supremacy.  It is submitted in this petition that the action retiring the Mississippi state flag serves as precedent showing cause to retire the existing Alabama Coat-of-Arms.
