This petition was created to deny Parole for Buddy Wayne Agee AIS # 00308439. 

Agee was convicted of Manslaughter in the death of Crystal Nicole Carey.

Crystal was a beautiful, funny, young woman when she met Buddy. She was outgoing and always lit up a room. She had a family whom she loved and spent a lot of times with. She had a lot of friends who she spent time with.  Slowly, Buddy changed her. Buddy abused Crystal for over ten years. Crystal remained caught up in the cycle that IS Domestic Violence. Ultimately that cycle ended her life.

Buddy and Crystal were in a wreck that killed Crystal. Buddy was driving and it is the strong belief of Crystals family, state troopers, and others that worked on the case that Crystal was gravely injured or dead before the wreck occured. She had defensive wounds that did not match injuries from the wreck. Buddy walked away from that wreck with very minor injuries. Crystal was unrecognizable. Her death has left a hole in the lives of her family, friends, classmates, co workers, and most importantly her two beautiful children.

However, Buddy was given a very light sentence in a plea bargain. At his sentencing, several members of Safeplace were present and Buddy had over 30 charges of domestic violence on his record. All of these charges were not juat in relation to Crystal but other women as well. 

Buddy was sentenced to 7 years with 2 years time served. He is due for release no earlier than 2020 but is set to go before the parole board in March 2019 for the second time. Buddy is a danger to women and children. I strongly believe if released he will continue to abuse women. Crystals family deserves justice and for him ro remain incarcerated for his entire sentence .
