The character of gokus brother served his purpose wonderfully. He capped off the series and died within the very beginning right before the juicy stuff all popped off. A great character with lots of potential was left alone . To what we all thought wouldn’t be forever. . But here’s the thing.. it has been. And here’s the even better thing... it worked! I mean honestly he’s been gone so long in the series he’s been basically non existent. And it’s fantastic. But the richness of what their holding on to , really the nostalgia of it all , is already preserved within the first 6 episodes of the series. We never see him again and the Raditz saga of dragon ball was arguably the most iconic part of the whole story! I mean come on , it’s the beginning! And the beginning has been gone now for so long I really believe that in order to steer dragon ball back in the right direction they need to go back to their roots. And what better way to do it by bringing in the protagonists older brother whom we haven’t seen in decades! Literally decades! It would make for a great story and a good way to pause from all the high powered awesomeness of levels goku and Vegeta have been reaching as of late. (Perhaps bring the z fighters story to a screeching hault & give them a much needed break from screen time) hint hint. Opens up for a whole lot of back story from somebody we haven’t seen in a long long while? Eh? I’m not gonna write the whole thing but sounds like a good look for dragon ball. And personally as a fan. (Fan of Raditz as well) I’d love to see something like this. I mean think about all the fun Akira Toriyama would have with that. So what’s up. Let’s make this happen.
