Baltimore Ravens LB Matthew Judon is the founder of the infamous victory slide. For years, after each Ravens road win, Judon performs the celebrated tradition by magically sliding down the isle of the team airplane. 

Judon’s right to victory slide is being threatened - after the team’s 24-10 win over the Indianapolis Colts, Judon was informed that he cannot do it anymore or he will get “kicked off the plane.”

The victory slide is an indispensable component of each and every Ravens win on the road. It is a simple, yet powerful act that signifies the team’s hard-earned success. It is something that millions of fans and I earnestly look forward to viewing on social media - something that brings me an abundance of joy and laughter every single time. To deny Judon of his right to victory slide is to eradicate a basic, time-honored established practice.
