Citizens from the Left and the Right, recognize this: WE — whether from the Left or from the Right — will get no reform from this government until we end the corrupting influence of money in this government.

Pick your issue — global warming, health care, the deficit, sensible regulation of Wall Street, simpler taxes, fair trade, a safe environment, decent broadband, a copyright system for the digital age — and the point is the same: There will be no change  until we end the way that money buys results in Congress.

Henry David Thoreau wrote: "There are a thousand hacking at the branches of evil to one striking at the root."

We must stop the hacking, and begin the strike: Demand that Congress end special interest funded elections, and enable small dollar Citizen Funded Elections. Elections funded by the 99% — too.
