Remove the name, "ANOREX" from the product & package for "Leptoprin."

The Issue

I came across this semi new diet pill called ANOREX. As a survivor and activist for anorexia and bulimia, I find the name of this diet pill to be a subliminal message with a target audience of niave teens suggesting that this medication is somehow associated with anorexia and makes light of the fact that diet pills and anorexia are one in the same and a good way to lose weight. They are clearly mistaken. This marketing concept sends mix mesages that anorexia is not a life threatening disease but instead a great way to lose weight.

I urge everyone to educate awareness to adolecents that this diet pill encourages anorexia tendencies when it should not.

For a drug manufacture (A.G. Waterhouse) to use a name that is associated with a a disease like anorexia is an immoral marketing tool. The drug name, ANOREX is a marketing name for Leptoprin. I suppose that Leptoprine was not a very marketable name and is why they decided to call it ANOREX.

A.G. Waterhouse needs to remove the name ANOREX from the box because they are encouraging eating disorder tendencies as if this was their hidden agenda all along. They are sending mixed messages to consumers.
