Human Health Hazards of the Climate-Adapted Crops for Africa from AfDB

Genetically engineered foods are different from natural foods. Genetic engineering allows, for foreign genes, bacterial and viral vectors, viral promoters and antibiotic marker systems to be engineered into food. The introduction of the Genetically-Engineered Climate-adapted crops would corrupt the gene pool of Africa’s natural plants and hence cause famine and perpetual dependency on corporate seeds from outside Africa. Corporations would hijack the food security of Africa. African countries would be entirely dependent on corporations for seeds with enormous health hazards. We request you sign to petition to all African leaders to reject the seed imports from the African Development Bank (AfDB) and their partners.
