The AFL game is already under pressure to maintain the position as the number one football code in Australia due to the aesthetics of the game changing and becoming less entertaining and watchable.

Having Brian Taylor and his co-commentator Luke Darcy call football games is further detracting from the game.  

If you value the integrity of the AFL brand, and the TV viewing audience, please find alternative commentators to the Taylor/Darcy combination.  It is getting to the point where many are torn between wanting to watch a game of footy & wanting to turn it off because of the ridiculous commentary provided by Mr Taylor and Mr Darcy.

This petition was set up in response to the number of negative tweets regarding the quality of the commentary over a period of months, and my own personal frustrations with the poor quality of their commentary.

Brian Taylor's stupid phrases and nicknames reflect that the call is more about his ego than relaying the happenings of the game on the field. Luke Darcy, as his sidekick. stokes his ego and adds further frustration to the lack of professionalism within the call.
