All lovers of the game of Australian Rules Football for too long the AFL's current administration has changed the rules of the game year in and year out without consulting the people that it matters to most (besides players) "the fans" myself as a huge fan I am fed up and these latest rule changes are just ridiculous to say the least (eg: man on the mark cannot move sideways). Players have so much adrenaline and for them to have to basically stop after an opposition player takes a mark is farcical. Also for the other rule changes where are the stats that can 100% support these changes? So please I urge you to sign this petition to try and get the AFL to at least once listen to the fans and overturn the latest rule changes and set up a proper consultation or voting process before making radical changes to our once great game because in the end the fans and the players are the most crucial part of the game and if the afl has no fans the game will just die and I for one do not want this to happen, but the AFL and it's CEO have to listen to the people and the only way we might get through to them is to get enough signatures.
