We’re asking Amazon to sell or license New World to a studio that will keep this world alive — with updates, events, and care the community still believes in.

We, the players and fans of New World: Aeternum and the worlds that Amazon Game Studios created, respectfully ask Amazon to sell or license this property to a studio capable of maintaining and expanding Aeternum.

Amazon’s decision to end major content updates after Season 10 — has left this passionate community with nowhere to go. New World shows incredible potential, but it needs the consistent care of a studio that understands how to nurture long-term live service games.

We aren’t asking for free servers or endless charity. Many of us would gladly support a paid or subscription-based model if it meant continued updates, events, and communication from developers who care about keeping these worlds alive.

MMOs thrive on passion and persistence — and the players of New World have shown both. There’s still time to preserve everything that makes Aeternum unique: its art, lore, and community spirit.

Explore options to sell or license New World rights to a publisher or developer who can continue live operations.

Allow another studio to continue building on what exists, instead of letting this world fade away.

Give the community a voice in deciding the future of the game we love. Even if the torch must be passed, we’d rather see this world live under new hands than vanish entirely.

As a longtime player, I’ve seen how much love and creativity this community has poured into Aeternum. We don’t want the story to end — we just want it to find a new home where it can thrive.
