We want to use policy to help create more homeless shelters and expand on the current ones. We would add new rules and policies rather than removing old ones. We would add rules that ensure shelters are ready to accommodate during extreme weather conditions. Working with city leaders such as mayor Jusin Bibb and the YWCA to gather volunteers and funding will help make these new policies successful. These changes would help give homeless people a safe place to stay and give the city a better future.
