As a tax payer, I am deeply concerned about the lack of benefits and respect we receive. We are nation builders, contributing to the development and growth of our country, yet we often feel overlooked by political parties. It's time for this to change.

The current tax rates are high while coverage is limited. This discourages many from paying taxes and does not reward those who do. We propose that these rates be reduced and coverage increased to encourage more citizens to become responsible taxpayers.

Moreover, innovative measures should be introduced by the government to make tax paying beneficial. For instance:

1. Tax payers should get benefits in government’s high-end housing schemes or plot draws.
2. Medical assistance should be provided in old age for taxpayers

These changes will not only incentivize more people to pay their taxes but also show appreciation towards those who have been doing so faithfully over the years.
