Go Guardian is a restraint on kid's computers and it is a violation of their privacy. Go Guardian is an application where teachers get to see whatever you are doing on your school Chromebook whenever they please. This is an invasion of kids' privacy. I get that it is a way to see if kids are doing the things they need to be doing but that just shows that they cannot trust kids and that is what is bothering me. Teachers can also close their tabs too. When teachers, parents, etc leave Go Guardian on for about 3 days that's when it can get pretty creepy. Go Guardian is "Annoying" when they enable it whenever they please. Teachers can also make any of your tabs including Gmail completely off. Even when students are home, the teachers can have Go Guardian on as well and that is what makes it really scary too. But here is the question, what is Go Guardian actually guarding kids against? We end Go Guardian because it is taking the magic away from kids' school. I think that kids don't need go-guardian. They know very well what they should be doing, and simply what they shouldn't. Kids need privacy too. There is much other software available that blocks unwanted sites that are inappropriate, unnecessary, or simply not what a child needs during school time. It's understandable that you don't agree with me, But I've asked many children about their opinion, and they agree. Teachers can even see most visted websites!
