The poverty in the Philippines has been an issue since then and over 23.7% of the population lived below the national poverty line in 2021. Many Filipinos are unable to afford houses for their family which puts them into danger. Poverty results them to hunger, homelessness, unsafe neighborhoods, substandard housing, inadequate childcare, and under resourced group. Poverty also leads childrens into higher rates of abuse which indicates psychological, physical, sexual or online abuse.

      Poverty can affect the children into their adulthood leading to lack of education or ability to work, and lack of meal. Having an uneven or unequal opportunities leads to impoverishment to commit a crime. Reducing Poverty in the Philippines is important because it hurt all of us in the long run. Reducing Poverty prevents hardhip in our life.
