I am a resident of Baguio City, Philippines who is currently under senior high school here in Magsaysay National High School. My personal experience with the traditional note-taking system has led me to believe that it is time for a change. The manual method of writing down lessons for studying is not only time-consuming but also less efficient compared to digital methods.

In this digital age where technology is at our fingertips, it's high time we leverage its potential in education. A study by Mueller and Oppenheimer (2014) found that students who take notes on laptops perform just as well as those who write out their notes if given the chance to review them before testing.

Implementing digital note-taking in our schools will not only make studying more convenient but also more effective. It allows students to organize their notes better and search through them faster. Furthermore, it reduces paper waste which aligns with our city's commitment towards environmental sustainability.
