The term "mulatto" expresses the view that those of mixed race are inferior and subhuman. The beautiful summit of Mulatto Mountain in North Carolina should be named after someone who can proudly represent the beauty and culture of North Carolina. Nina Simone was an amazing singer/musician and civil rights activist from North Carolina lets give her a place in history. Let's rename Mulatto Mountain to Nina Simone mountain.
