Rule Number 8, "#playing-hoi4 should be used only for organizing multiplayer Hearts of iron 4 games" is an outdated and frivolous rule, that hasn't ever been followed through the entire history of the discord server, and absolutely hasn't been enforced.

I believe this outdated rule should be taken off the books, in order to consolidate the rules of the discord, and accurately represent the status quo of the discord server. And now that Scroup has returned (welcome back) this rule can finally be removed, or edited to be more in line with our current way of doing things.

You may wonder, "why should this rule be removed, I think it makes sense for #playing-hoi4 to be only for organizing Hoi4 Multiplayer Games" but this is an ignorant opinion. You see, us multiplayer gremlins are an opressed minority on the EAW discord server, we try to express our opinions in the main chats, but we are silenced, because the devs don't care about multiplayer balance, because of that oppression, we have moved to our own space, that being the #playing-hoi4 chat, where we can spend time with each other, discuss the mod, discuss other things, play other games, and be happy. But this rule threatens us every day, with the threat that mods will come in, enforce the rule, and destroy our community so they can build a 8 lane highway over our land

So what can you do? Well for one you can sign the petition, it doesn't really do anything but having signatures is great, you can share this petition with other members of the discord server, if you're on the mod team you can start an actual discussion on removing this rule.

What should you not do? Well for one don't spam ping the mods to remove this rule, if they decide to not remove rule Number 8, then you should respect that. I won't but you should, And if you're a developer, you should work to make the mod more multiplayer friendly, please, I beg you, at the very least if you make a focus that just activates an event, please say what the event will do, like honestly I have to do so many test games just to figure out a good build, all because focuses don't say what they do so I have to play to them, like please, I know the majority of the community isn't multiplayer, but have some pity on the part that is, we're an oppressed minority
