As a passionate UFC viewer, the blinding beam of a ceiling light at our cherished corner bar in Remuera has been a recurring inconvenience for me on Sundays. The inappropriately placed light obscures the view of the TV, disrupting my and undoubtedly other patrons' experience. 

The issue extends beyond just the UFC viewers among us. The efficient placement and appropriate height of lighting can significantly enhance a viewer's experience, regardless of what they're watching (Source: Lighting Research Center). One could argue that our bar-going experience should not be any less important than those settling in to appreciate a stage performance or a movie in a cinema.

With this in mind, we request that the bar management reconsiders the positioning of this particular light, raising it to a height that no longer impedes our view of the TV.
