Students of Mithibai college recently had approached court with a plea to let them write exams when students with 58% attendance were also debarred.

While I know attendance is important in college, a child loses out an entire year when he is debarred from.college due to lack of attendance.

This could be considered and brought down to 50% instead of 60% rule by Mithibai college this year debarring 550 degree college students out of which many are between 55 to 60 category attendance.

Requesting Principal Rajpal Hande to reconsider and give students a chance and revisit the debarred list.

Especially during these stressful times..it will be a life saver for children who will have to undergo stress of loosing a year.

Requesting Respected principal to please give a chance to all students with above 50% a chance to write the exams, this will save lives of majority of students and relieve stress of parents too.

All colleges including Mumbai University are following attendance rule of 50%, Mithibai being an autonomous college has taken a decision to debar all with attendance below 60%, which I think is unfair ...there should be parity in the system.

No doubt its a great college and has kept its standards high..but please re consider this decision.

Children can use the vacation to start preparing if an early decision can be taken .it will go a long way in securing their future.
