Address the Parking Issue In Our Neighborhood and Finally Be Granted Parking Permits!

The Issue

Hi from your neighbors on the 700 block of Edinburgh,

As we all know, there is NEVER anywhere to park for those who live on Edinburgh Ave. The growing popularity of Community Goods right down the street has exacerbated our parking woes, making it nearly impossible for residents to find a spot or drive safely on the street. The daily congestion beyond no parking on Edinburgh, from people parking in the alley, speeding down the street, double parking on the street with hazards, or parking in driveways, makes living in this area nearly unbearable.

This situation is inconvenient and unfair to those who call this neighborhood home. We need a solution that balances the needs of local businesses and residents alike. Additionally, Edinburgh is the only street in the neighborhood without parking restrictions or permits. We feel all-day parking permit restrictions would raise the community's overall well-being, so we hope the city will address this issue swiftly with your help!

We've already emailed our local city council rep, Katy Yaroslavsky, but have not heard back yet. We hope to leverage all signatures to present to Ms. Yarolavsky a full list of community members harmed by this overcrowding and push for parking permits on Edinburgh.

Please sign this petition to urge city officials and business owners to address this pressing issue immediately!
