For the past three years, we have reached out to city officials in Streator, IL, to address the neglected property at 610 Barnhart Street. Initially, our concern was to get the owner to maintain their yard. After persistent requests over three years, this was finally achieved. However, due to prolonged neglect, cutting the front yard has led to bigger issues such as fleas, pests, and rodents. The back of the property remains so overgrown with rotting garbage & vegetation that even our own city cannot manage it.

This situation is affecting our health and safety and diminishing our ability to sell homes at fair market value as this property continues to deteriorate. We need immediate action from city officials to fully address these concerns for the well-being of our community.
