The Issue

This petition is being created to address ongoing concerns regarding Vincent Richard, an employee at 1837 Fresh Food Market, located between the Twin Towers at Marshall University.

Since the Fall 2025 semester, Vincent has repeatedly engaged in behavior that has been described by multiple female customers and employees as inappropriate, harassing, and unsettling. His conduct has caused continued discomfort and concern for those who work at and visit 1837 Fresh Food Market.

These issues have absolutely been brought to the attention of both Vincent and management multiple times. Meetings have taken place, and management has been made fully aware of the behavior and its impact. Despite this, no effective action has been taken to correct or stop the behavior. The situation has not improved, and the conduct continues.

As a result, female staff members and customers continue to feel uncomfortable and unsafe in the workplace and shopping environment. This petition exists because internal reporting and discussions have not led to any resolution.

If you have experienced or witnessed inappropriate behavior related to this situation, please consider signing this petition and sharing your story.
