While some spend thousands of birr on beauty treatments, haircuts, alcohol, and even millions on luxurious vacations and shopping sprees, children, mothers, the elderly, and young professionals are left to fend for themselves. This isn't a fabricated story; it's a harsh reality that defines our daily existence. We live in a survival of the fittest environment, where survival is not guaranteed.

The government seems apathetic, ignoring the cries of its citizens who are going hungry. Inflation continues to surge unchecked, creating a humanitarian crisis that demands immediate attention. As an apolitical group, we seek only the ability to live, to feed ourselves, and to ensure a future where no one dies from hunger.

To the Ethiopian government, we urgently request that you take effective measures to control the market and address this runaway inflation. We need policies that will stabilize prices and make essential goods accessible to everyone, not just the wealthy elite. We call for regulatory oversight to curb exploitative price hikes that leave so many of us vulnerable.
